Goni Cimstone Water Feature

Four separate components, all drawn from the Light Stone range, stack to make this fountain — and it is built to order, not pulled off a shelf. Exterior-grade Dulux Weathershield paint seals the composite against Western Australian sun and coastal moisture. Because the unit is assembled in store, the arrangement can be set to suit the courtyard, paved patio or garden bed it is going into.

  • Construction: Assembled from four distinct components in the Light Stone range
  • Protective finish: Painted with exterior-grade Dulux Weathershield
  • Production: Custom-made and built to order in store
  • Placement: Suitable for gardens, paved patios and courtyards

About Goni Cimstone Water Feature

Four distinct components, each selected from our Light Stone collection, stack to make this feature. That is the whole idea behind it: the visual mass and texture of dressed stone, without the handling problems solid stone brings at the same size. Water runs continuously over the assembly, which is why it works in residential courtyards, patio nooks and the corner of a garden where people actually sit.

Perth asks a lot of an outdoor surface — intense UV radiation, coastal moisture, seasonal temperature swings — so each feature is coated with exterior-grade Dulux Weathershield. The paint seals the composite against moisture ingress and keeps the surface from fading or flaking. Every Goni Cimstone unit is custom-made to order in our Malaga workshop, so the component arrangement can be adapted to the proportions of the space it has to sit in. Tell us where it is going and we will work back from there: contact us about a product or project for lead times and custom finishes, or compare it against the rest of the water features and fountains collection first.

Does the feature need a concrete slab underneath?

It needs a firm, level foundation — a reinforced concrete slab or solid masonry pavers both do the job. Level matters more than people expect. If the assembly sits off true, water favours one side and the other side runs dry, and the four stacked components stop reading as one sheet of movement.

Will the Dulux Weathershield finish need much looking after?

Not much. Rinse the painted surfaces with fresh water when they look dusty and wipe them down with a soft microfibre cloth — that is the whole routine. What the paint membrane will not tolerate is a pressure washer or a harsh chemical cleaner. Both cut into the coating, and once that seal is broken the composite underneath starts taking up moisture.

Who fits the pump and internal pipework?

We do, during in-store assembly. Our workshop runs dedicated water delivery pipework inside the feature and calibrates the circulating pump so water moves smoothly over all four components, with minimal windblown splash past the assembly.

How often does the reservoir need topping up through a Perth heatwave?

Every few days in warm weather. Multi-tier cascading surfaces present a lot of water to dry air and lose it to evaporation quickly on a hot summer day. Inspect the reservoir often enough to top the level up and keep the submersible pump fully submerged.
