Placing 10 to 15 kg of coarse blue metal gravel into the base of a tall urn before adding potting mix establishes a low centre of gravity that prevents high-wind tipping.

Wide-based profiles including the cube planters, troughs and low urns are stable once filled with moist potting mix and generally need no additional ballast.

Can fibreglass planters be repainted or repaired?

Yes. If a container is scratched during transit or if you wish to change your exterior colour palette, the two-pack paint finish can be lightly scuffed and recoated with exterior acrylic or polyurethane paint.
