About Mixed Swimming Fish Panel
Cut from formed metal, the school runs the full 240 by 120 face. The fish sit at varied angles with uneven spacing, and that is what keeps the piece from reading as wallpaper. The silhouettes are open, so whatever is behind the panel becomes part of the picture: render, limestone, painted brick. On a poolside wall the light moving through the cutouts does half the work.
A panel this wide wants an unbroken run of wall behind it, so measure the space when you are planning the layout. It comes through our wall art collection, and if you want to see how deep the cutouts actually are before ordering, contact us about a product or project and come through the Malaga showroom.
Common questions
How big is the panel?
240 x 120 cm. That is enough face to carry a wall on its own, and too much for a narrow pier, so measure the run first.
What is it made from?
Formed metal. It holds its own shape without a frame behind it, and the cut edges stay crisp instead of softening the way moulded materials tend to.
Indoors, outdoors, or both?
Both. We see it go up in galleries, dining rooms and entrance halls, and just as often on courtyard, alfresco and poolside walls.
Where does a panel this size work best?
On long masonry or boundary runs with nothing happening on them. Hung horizontally or vertically, it gives the eye somewhere to land, and it sits well beside a water feature or a line of perimeter planting.
