About Nest Water Feature
At 57 x 40 x 67 cm, the Nest fits where most fountains cannot — a border in a suburban backyard, the corner of a courtyard, the end of a patio, or a bright indoor living area — without taking up floor space you actually walk on. The form is contoured and organic, sculpted rather than geometric, and the water runs over it quietly.
Poly hante composite carries the Antique White finish and handles outdoor exposure, and it keeps the weight low enough that one person can usually shift the feature to try it in a second spot. A 12 V pump and integrated LED lighting are included, so the water is lit through the evening as well as catching the light during the day. View the water features and fountains collection, or contact us about a product or project if you want the power point sorted out before delivery. We keep fountains running in the Malaga showroom, so you can hear one before you decide.
Common questions
Where does the 12 V adapter go?
Into an undercover, weatherproof outdoor power point with residual current device (RCD) protection. Keep the 12 V adapter itself raised off wet ground and clear of garden mulch — that is where connections give trouble first.
Can the Nest run indoors?
Yes, and plenty go into sunrooms. Stand the base on a waterproof tray or mat, keep the water level moderate, and turn the flow down until it stays inside the feature. Splash onto timber or tiles is the one thing that catches people out indoors.
How often does the reservoir need topping up in summer?
Check it weekly through the mild months, and every two to three days once a hot Perth summer sets in. The pump has to stay submerged to keep its motor cool, so a reservoir left to run dry is what ends a pump early. While you are there, lift the pump intake screen and clear it — a blocked intake shows up as a weak flow well before the pump itself protests.
