About Large Low Bowl Planter

At 150 cm across and 40 cm deep, this reads as a low disc of planting rather than a pot. That is the point of it. Wide enough to hold a grouped, multi-tiered arrangement, shallow enough that a courtyard keeps its sightlines, it belongs to our oversize planters collection, where the scale is set by the space rather than by the plant going into it.

Three finishes: Cement Grey, Stone White and Charcoal Black. Grey settles into limestone paving and more or less vanishes, white lifts against dark render, and black holds a clean edge beside timber decking. Set one in the middle of a courtyard and it becomes the centre of it; repeat the same bowl down a pool terrace and the rhythm does the work instead.

Work out the mix before you order the bowl, not after the delivery truck leaves: the potting mix calculator will size it for you. Finish samples sit out on the floor at our Malaga showroom if you would rather see Stone White in daylight first.

Common questions

How wide is the bowl, and how deep?

150 x 40 cm. The spread is what you notice; the shallow depth is what keeps the planting below eye level in a large open space.

Which colours can I order it in?

Three: Cement Grey, Stone White and Charcoal Black.

What plants suit a bed only 40 cm deep?

Agave, grouped succulents, trailing dichondra, dwarf cycads and seasonal flowering displays all sit happily at this depth. The width is the bonus — enough surface to stage a tiered arrangement rather than a single ring of the one plant.

Where does it work best on site?

Open courtyards, alfresco dining terraces, poolside lounging zones and lawn perimeters — anywhere you want a planted line that stays low and does not wall off the view.

Is this the same bowl as the spillway model?

No. This one is pre-drilled for drainage and planted only. The Low Bowl with Spillway Planter carries an integrated water spillway notch for circulating water feature use.
