What site preparation is required for the 1700 mm fibreglass underground basin?

Excavate a level pit slightly wider than the 1700 mm basin diameter and line the base with approximately 50 to 75 mm of compacted bedding sand. Checking the base with a spirit level before backfilling ensures the reservoir sits flat under surrounding ground load.

How is the underground reservoir finished at the ground surface?

The sub-surface fibreglass tank is fitted with a rigid structural support grid. This grid is typically covered flush with decorative river stones, paving units, or timber decking cut neatly around the central bowl pedestal.
