Polystone Resin does the crisp edges and flat faces of cut stonework without the mass that comes with it, which means the container can be carried into position and moved again later without lifting gear. The composite holds those lines in indoor living spaces and sheltered outdoor settings, and asks for nothing beyond ordinary container care.

Which plants suit a tall tapered square?
Upright structural species echo the shape rather than fight it — Sansevieria (mother-in-law’s tongue), palms, tall dracaenas and slender ficus varieties all work. Set a single upright specimen in the centre and let something cascading do the rest: string of pearls or trailing dichondra spilling over the square rim breaks the hard edge.
Will it stay put in a breezy courtyard?
Ballast it before you plant. A tall container carries its weight high, so put a 10 cm layer of blue metal aggregate or river pebbles in the bottom, cover that with permeable geotextile fabric, then backfill with potting mix. The fabric stops the mix washing down into the stone and keeps the ballast doing its job.
Used indoors, what keeps water off the floor?
Leave the specimen in its nursery grow-pot and stand it on an internal plastic saucer inside the container base. Watering is easier that way, and any runoff is caught well before it reaches floorboards or tiles.
Drainage setup for an outdoor courtyard?
Check the base drainage hole is clear of debris before anything goes in. Cover the aperture with synthetic mesh or geotextile fabric so media stays put, then backfill with an open-structured potting mix formulated for container growing.
Does the Polystone Resin finish need sealing or special cleaning?
No sealing. The resin surface is closed, so airborne dust and garden splash sit on top of it rather than soaking in, and a soft cloth with fresh water and a little mild liquid detergent lifts both. What it will not tolerate is scouring — wire brushes and abrasive powders cut into the moulded face and leave a polished patch that never matches the surrounding wall. Keep harsh chemical cleaners away from it as well.
